The work of six photographers from the Collectif Génération Elili will be exhibited at the Malta Postal Museum ( 135, Archbishop str., Valletta) from 20th October to 13th November.
La Génération Elili is a group of photographers based in Brazzaville, engaged in the promotion of Congolese photography on an international level. All of the members of the Collectif are self-educated artists, wholly passionate about photography, and determined to promote the valorisation of the visual arts and the improvement of photography in all of its manifestations.
Francis Kodia
Francis Kodia (15 May 1974) is a self-taught photographer who joined the Collectif in 2009, the same year of his first exhibition. His work deals mainly with the river Congo.
Jessica Mampouya
Jessica Mampouya is a 28 young photograher who studied Businness Management and joined the Collectif in 2011.
Kinzénguélé
Désiré Loutsono known as Kinzénguélé is a famous photographer in Brazzaville where he was born and where he lives. He has been passionate about photography since he was young. In 2003 he founded the Collective Génération Elili.
Lebon Chansard Ziavoula
Lebon Chansard Ziavoula (born in 1988) is a student in Communication who joined the Collectif in 2010. He exhibited in Brazzaville.
Mirna Kintombo
Mirna Kintombo (born in 1990) is a self-taught photographer who discovered his passion for photography when he was twelve years old.
Richard Fabrice Goma
Richard Fabrice Goma member of the Collectif since its inception, he exhibited both in Congo and in France.
